Description

This presentation provides an up-to-date analysis of the future workforce needs in the transit industry, including current workforce age, gender and race distribution, retirement trends, industry growth, and high-demand jobs and skills. Many of the transit jobs with high growth and replacement needs pay above national median wages, provide good benefits and career pathways/ladders opportunities. The presentation also highlights the gap between the projected job openings in key transit and transportation jobs and related educational program completions.
